Saturday Night Genealogy Fun with Wordle

Randy Seaver at Genea-Musings has been having fun with Wordle creating his own word cloud – and here’s mine

You can choose colours, shapes, how many words to include and even download from your blog content.  I think it’s rather pretty.  I used my Scottish Genealogist blog to produce my cloud so I’m not surprised at the huge “Scotland” although there is a little “Fox” in there, and even a bit of Census Cake, which appeared in the same post as CASUALTIES 🙂

I had a bit of difficulty using Wordle’s HTML (the cloud came out too small) so pasted a screenshot into Microsoft Paint, cropped it and uploaded the image.

Nip over to Genea-Musings to find out how it’s done and leave a comment so we can see your word cloud 🙂
